Cthulhu, (pronounced "Khlûl'hloo" or "Kathooloo”), often preceded by the epithet Great, Dead, or Dread, thus invoking abject terror. Cthulhu is a being created by horror author H.P. Lovecraft. Cthulhu first appeared in the short story "The Call of Cthulhu" (1928). The phrase "a mountain walked or stumbled" gives a sense of the creature's scale. Followers of Cthulhu are noted for chanting: "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn ", which translates as "In his house at R'lyeh dead Cthulhu waits dreaming.” Cthulhu jewelry is popular with H.P. Lovecraft readers and is often worn for protection.

The Cthulhu Mythos Pendant is available in solid sterling silver with palladium platinum plating (to make it scratch resistant and hypoallergenic) or solid 14k Yellow or White Gold.  The Cthulhu pendant measures approximately 32.8 mm (just over 1 1/4") long, 28.1 mm (just under 1 1/8") wide, and 3 mm (1/8") at the thickest point.  The pendant weighs approximately 7.7 grams in sterling silver.  Includes a 24" long platinum plated double rope chain.

Like a gargoyle, this ring protects the wearer from harm. 
The large, regal Call of Cthulhu Ring is available in solid sterling silver with palladium platinum plating (to make it tarnish resistant and hypoallergenic) or solid 14k Yellow or White Gold in US sizes 6 to 17, in whole and half sizes. The top of the ring measures approximately 17.8 mm (11/16") long by 16.9 mm (just over 7/8") wide.  The band measures approximately 3.8 mm (just over 1/8") wide.  The ring weighs approximately 11.7 grams in sterling silver, weight will vary with size.
