Care of your Jewelry:

With a little common sense, your jewelry can be easily maintained and protected.
Avoid cleaning products with acids, alcohol, bleach, and ammonia.
We recommend a small amount�of Dawn Original Scent dish soap (Blue) and water. Avoid fruit-scented or citrus based soaps as they may be too acidic. Also,�do not use toothpaste on your jewelry.
Rinse all soap off of jewelry�and gently dab dry with a soft cotton cloth.

Keep all suntan and skin lotions off�of your jewelry.

Avoid Alcohol-based hand sanitizers and Lysol at ALL costs!
It is not recommended that you swim in a chlorinated or saltwater pool, or the ocean while wearing your jewelry. If you believe your jewelry has been exposed to a caustic chemical, rinse it off with soap and water as soon as possible.

If a ring becomes stuck on your finger,�washing your hands with soapy water,�working soap under the ring, and taking the ring off while your�hands are still soapy often works to get the ring off (rinse off jewelry afterwards, of course). When storing jewelry for longer periods�of time (more than one week), it is best to keep the jewelry away from heat,�air and light. Wrapping it in a simple�cotton cloth in a dry area is usually enough to protect it.

Do not leave your jewelry in a hot car.

Avoid wearing it around pirates ;-).

Silver polish may ruin the jewelry, as it is NOT intended for jewelry, especially jewelry that is platinum plated. The best method of polishing�jewelry is to use a special chemically-treated jewelry polishing cloth (which can be ordered from us),�applying light to medium pressure.� Please e-mail us at beowulfjewelryshop@beowulfjewelryshop.com if you are interested in purchasing polishing cloths.
